Viscosia Asteroid guide: the oil moonlet no cluster places

What the Viscosia world file generates in the current game, and why many seeds fail, with two in-game examples.
The Viscosia Asteroid is a 64 × 96 cell moonlet of oil fields and rust over a magma core. The game describes it as filled with crude oil, natural gas and ethanol. In the current game the oil is modest: 27 to 29 tonnes of Crude Oil and 25 to 52 tonnes of Ethanol on the two sample worlds.
The world file guarantees one of eight oil-pocket templates. On three of the five seeds tried (1234567, 2468024 and 31415926) none of them fit, and the game stops world generation with an error. Seeds 55555 and 909090 generated.
No cluster in the current game places this asteroid, so typing a seed never produces it. Players meet it in custom clusters built with cluster-editing mods such as Cluster Generation Manager. The screenshots below come from the game's own world generator: a Terrania Cluster game in which the Superconductive Asteroid placement was replaced by this world file, so the cluster coordinate under each picture does not reproduce the asteroid in an unmodded game.

What to target first after landing
- Land on the surface and build a small sealed outpost.
- Capture Slicksters if the colony ranches them.
- Pump the crude oil and ethanol before mining around the magma.
- Mine the lead and the diamond.
Surviving the asteroid
The asteroid is small and dry. Bring water and oxygen, and keep visits short.
