Blowters are docile fish with a poorly developed gastrointestinal tract. This species eats only Waterweed but lacks the digestive enzymes required to process the plant efficiently. Large amounts of excess Oxygen build up in the critter's gut during digestion, resulting in chronic and extreme bloating. Marine explorers have learned to siphon Oxygen from Blowters in an emergency. It's not clear who was the first to attempt this.
