Beakons are highly sought-after by ichthyophiles due to their radiant bioluminescence and unusual habit of surfacing for Oxygen. These brilliant critters enjoy the tickle of air in their gills, and are happiest cohabiting with bubbly Flue Coral that provide abundant air pockets for their entertainment. Some Beakons have even been known to nap atop their preferred coral formation. Such sightings are extremely rare.
